Luna 4D LED Sign Module (LUNA-4)

A 24 VDC, 6500 K four-LED sign module giving 259 lm from 1.44 W, with a 175° beam that suits depths of 40–250 mm. It's IP67 rated, measures 90.4 × 18 × 11.9 mm, and takes up to 30 modules per chain. Sold per module, and it's PWM dimmable with a compatible controller and power supply.

Application Guide

Suits channel letters and light boxes with a cabinet depth of 40–250 mm. Use a depth-to-spacing ratio (D:P) of 1:3 as a starting point, then check your face material and layout with a sample before committing. The 260 mm link pitch on the harness is a drawing dimension, not the recommended spacing.

Installation steps

For qualified installers. This covers module handling and DC connections, not mains wiring.

1. Confirm the exact variant. Check M24GW51B, the 24 VDC input and required CCT against the delivered module. Don't substitute a different voltage or suffix.
2. Plan the layout. Use the 40–250 mm cabinet-depth range. The D:P = 1:3 (depth to spacing) laboratory reference is only a starting point, so check your face material and layout with a sample.
3. Prepare and secure the modules. Use a clean, stable mounting surface and a fixing method approved for the cabinet and product. Avoid vibration and mechanical damage, and protect the connecting wires from strain.
4. Cut and finish only the links. If you shorten a harness, cut between modules only, never the module body. Use connection and sealing methods approved for the environment. The module IP rating does not cover cut joints, the power supply or the complete sign.
5. Connect DC power with correct polarity. Red/white is positive and white is negative in the supplier wiring diagram. Keep chains in parallel, never in series, and don't exceed 30 modules per chain. Only connect with the supply isolated.
6. Select the supply separately. Nominal load is module count × 1.44 W. Choose a compatible 24 VDC supply and PWM control from their approved specifications, with documented capacity margin, environment and cable rules. The CV label describes the internal module circuit.
7. Commission the installation. Have the installer check connections, polarity, strain relief and enclosure protection before switching on. Confirm supply voltage, loading and temperatures stay within the approved system limits, and check the lit face looks right.
8. Maintain and record. Keep the module code, chain counts, power supply and control details, and layout with the project. Isolate the supply before maintenance, and replace damaged parts with approved equivalents.
