iFlex Indoor LED Strip Light

iFlex indoor series LED strip lights consist of high quality, colour consistent SMD (surface mount diodes) on a thin flexible conductor board. They are a low voltage 12V / 24V DC versatile lighting system with a multitude of uses. They can be cut every 50mm and easily connected with a solder join or jumper cable. Commonly found in cove and lineal lighting applications, they can also add great highlight effects to shelves, cupboards, kitchens and entertainment cabinets. The 3m tape makes installation quick and easy or for a more diffused light the can be mounted into any of our aluminium profiles. As they are a low voltage product, you do not need an electrician to connect them when using with a plug-in power supply. The iFlex range is available in a range of power outputs from 4.8 watts/m to 19.6 watts per meter. In order to match the correct power supply – simply multiply the length you require by the strips rated power and select the most appropriate driver from our range. Single colour iFlex LED strips can be connected directly to the driver, while the colour changing RGB and digital effects require additional control systems sold separately. Our Auckland-based store and online shop stocks a selection of indoor strip lights at competitive prices. Stocking only the best-quality brands, look no further for all your indoor LED strip lighting needs.

LED strip lighting FAQ

12V or 24V LED strip: which should I choose?

24V strip runs longer distances with less voltage drop, so it suits most runs over about 3 m and larger installs. 12V suits short runs, vehicles, boats and battery systems. Always match the strip voltage to the power supply.

What do IP ratings mean for LED strip?

IP20 strip is for dry indoor areas only. IP65 is silicone coated and splash resistant for kitchens, bathrooms and sheltered outdoor areas. IP67 and IP68 are fully sealed for outdoor or submersible use.

Which colour temperature should I pick?

2700K to 3000K is warm white for living areas and hospitality, 4000K is natural white for kitchens, retail and workspaces, and 6000K to 6500K is cool white for task and display lighting. CCT strips let you adjust between warm and cool.

Can LED strip be cut to length?

Yes. Only cut on the marked cut lines printed on the strip, then reconnect with solder or a compatible connector. Waterproof strip needs resealing at the cut with an end cap and silicone.
